Within the last year or so, I've lost alot of weight and now the majority of my leather corsets do not fit. and I had many, especially one that was made by someone no longer in business that I got off of ebay. Question: How do I find someone that will do alterations to a kinky corset or two??? (since I do not want to get rid of them and want to wear a couple again.). They're definitely not something I could take to a regular alterations shop in town.
Are your concerns that in a small town people might start talking about it? Where I live there are tailors all over the place, most seem to be independent shops, run by very sweet little old ladies, etc. I've had fetishy type clothes altered there and they just seem genuinely happy to have the business. I always figure they've seen it all.
It's a bad economy; people want business. If you are concerned that someone might make a comment or ask, you can reference that it's for a halloween costume or theatre production.
You can also try Craigslist if you feel safe, but I would recommend being aggressive about safety checking and having your man with you, etc.
